Through a continuous training programme and meticulous monitoring of on-site procedures, we have established a health and safety record that bears comparison with the best in the industry.

At every level within the company we operate a policy that encourages consultation and participation, resulting in a workforce that embraces the importance of all aspects of health and safety.

Our journey towards ISO 18001 accreditation provides us with a framework that allows us to promote a safe and healthy working environment and ultimately provide health and safety excellence.

We believe that the future is worth investing in. That’s why the JB Brickwork Group spends £150,000 per year developing the skills of more than 15 apprentices at its in-house training centre.

Backed by the CITB, and in partnership with Reid Kerr and South Lanarkshire Colleges, our apprentices are already amongst the top performers within their chosen careers and will form the cornerstone of our ability to deliver a high quality finished product for years to come.

Our commitment to personnel development has also seen us embark on our Investors in People accreditation, which we hope to complete later this year.
